This woodworking class will focus on the concepts and safe use of both free standing and tabletop wood lathes. Students will learn the basics of turning with carbide tools and how to prep, turn, and assemble a pen kit to take home. Different types of wood will be available for selection.

Date and time: Monday, March 18th from 6pm-9pm (note: class may go a little later).

Requirements: No woodworking experience needed. All supplies and safety equipment will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes and tie any long hair back for your safety!

Instructor: Zachary Amend

Cost: $125 for Non-Members, $100 for HackPGH Members. No-shows will NOT be refunded. If you need to cancel, please contact HackPGH at least 48 hours before the class date!
