Do you want to learn more about sewing, embroidery, textiles, and electronics? HackPGH has the class for you! Join us for this unique class that introduces students to e-textiles; a blend of electronics and textile processes. Participants will take home their own handmade light-up embroidery art piece!
During this two-session class, we will be using conductive textile materials along with more traditional electronics components to make embroidery artwork that lights up! During this class, students will learn the basics of electronic circuitry as well as different hand-sewing and hand-embroidery techniques!
Note: If you would like to take a similar, one-session class without the embroidery component, click here to check out our other Light-Up Plushie class.
