The 2024 HackPGH Chance Auction!

Help HackPGH and get a chance to win some incredible prizes by buying tickets for our annual Chance Auction! 

Date & Time: Auction drawings will take place at our Halloween & Anniversary Party on Saturday, October 19th sometime between 8:00pm and 10:30pm. Winners not present at the party will be contacted within 72 hours of the drawing to arrange pickup (or shipment with certain items) of prizes.

Ticket prices: $1.00 per ticket, or twelve for $10.00

For online or presale ticket purchases:  Use the links below to purchase individual tickets for the items you want! For every $10 of tickets you purchase, we will contact you within 24 hours to confirm that you are receiving two extra as part of the "twelve for $10" deal. Store also has options for $10 groups of twelve tickets, either disbursed how you'd like or evenly among the twelve items!

What is a Chance Auction? 

A Chance Auction combines silent auctions and raffles. Bidders buy tickets to bid on items, and the more tickets they buy, the higher their chances of winning. The winner is chosen by lottery, not by the highest bid. 

1. Bidders can purchase tickets for $1 each, or twelve for $10.  You do not have to be at the party to win! We will be posting the auction items and links to purchase tickets about a week before the event! 
2. Bidders put tickets in a basket for the item they want to win, or a proxy board member will do it for online purchases.
3. Towards the end of the party, tickets are drawn from each basket and winners are announced!

**Must be 21 years of age or older to win and pick up these prizes. IDs will be checked. Delivery is not available for the two items.

Auction proceeds go to HackPGH, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization

Our 3D Printer Grand Prize is a separate traditional raffle. Tickets are $10 each and will be available for purchase online a week before the event as well as in-person at the party!
