Intro to Sewing Workshop Description: This class will introduce you to the basics of sewing with woven fabrics. You will learn basic machine operation, sewing seams, corners, a version of zipper installation, and making a simple strap for a bag using the Jalie Galaxie Jet pattern. This class is good for folks that have never used a machine before and also for someone looking for a refresher on basics. Each participant will have a Jet travel pouch to take home at the end of class. No experience required. All materials will be provided. Age requirement 10+ (minors must be accompanied by an adult) Cost: $55 for non-members $50 for HackPGH members. Be advised, no-shows will NOT be refunded. Please notify us if you cannot attend the class at least 48 hours before the class date!
