Select this option if you are a parent or guardian of a child taking this class, but you do NOT plan on making your own chainmail piece. You and your child will work together on the same project.

This option requires you to fill out the contact information for the minor. When you arrive, you must complete our Minor Waiver before participating in any class activities. Thank you!
Minor Child Ticket with Parent/Guardian Participating – $65.00
Choose this option if you would like to take this class alongside your child. Both of you will work on your own individual pieces.

This option allows you to register both you and your child. You will need to complete a minor waiver at HackPGH before participating in any class activities! Members and Non-Members pay the same price.

In this fun and interactive workshop, participants will learn basic chainmail and jewelry-making techniques. These skills will then be used to make two items:

a European four-in-one chainmail bag (with or without drawstring);
AND
A dual-color Byzantine chain. These beautifully patterned chains can easily be turned into an attractive bracelet or necklace with clasps from our jewelry-making bench!

Students will leave class with a bag, their choice of Byzantine chain jewelry, and/or the tool to complete both!

Date and time: Tuesday, July 8th from 6:00pm-9:00pm**
**Students may stay a bit later to work on their pieces.

Requirements: No experience necessary.
