Hack-O-Ween & 15th Anniversary Party!

It's Autumn 2024 - let's celebrate Halloween AND HackPGH's 15th Anniversary! 

Join us on Saturday, October 19th for an amazing "Hack-O-Ween" party featuring: 

• a Costume contest 
• Food*  
• Drinks* (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) 
• Chance Auction (12 items!)
• Halloween music and movies
• Grand Prize Raffle: win a Bambu A1 Mini Combo 3D Printer with filament and accessories! 

Must be 18+ to gain entry. Those who wish to consume alcohol must be 21 years or older. RSVPs are welcome, but not required!

Time: 6:30pm - 12:30am

Suggested donation: $5 per person 

Location: HackPGH is located in the the basement level of 1936 Fifth Avenue. Our entrance is on Jumonville Street; look for the blue signs! 

Parking: There is free street parking on both sides of Jumonville Street and  the fenced side of Watson Street. HackPGH has a small gravel lot off Watson, and an overflow lot located in the front of our building. 

*Food & Beverages

Pizza, hot buffalo chicken dip, and various snacks will be served, along with beer, punch, apple cider, soft drinks, and bottled water. Feel free to bring a sharable entrée or appetizer or your favorite boozy or non-boozy beverage! 

**What is a Chance Auction? 

A Chance Auction combines silent auctions and raffles. Bidders buy tickets to bid on items, and the more tickets they buy, the higher their chances of winning. The winner is chosen by lottery, not by the highest bid. 

1. Bidders can purchase tickets for $1 each, or twelve for $10.  You do not have to be at the party to win! We will be posting the auction items and links to purchase tickets about a week before the event! 
2. Bidders put tickets in a basket for the item they want to win, or a proxy board member will do it for online purchases.
3. Towards the end of the party, tickets are drawn from each basket and winners are announced! 

Our 3D Printer Grand Prize is a separate traditional raffle. Tickets are $10 each and will be available for purchase online a week before the event as well as in-person at the party!
